The prime organ that is responsible for Research and Development activities of the Unity University is the Research and Strategy Development Department. It is established under the President’s Office and encompasses the following three independent units namely:-

• Research and Publications Office,
• Ethiopian Center for Strategic Studies and
• The Leadership Development Program

Research and Publications Office

The Research and Publications Office is established to coordinate the overall research and publications activities of Unity University. Therefore, the Office is primarily responsible for organizing Annual National Multi-disciplinary Conference and ensuring the Bi-annual publication of the “Ethiopian Journal of Business and Development”.
