Unity Graduates the First Batch of Master's Degree Holders

Unity University graduated 1077 students 36 of whom are the first batch of masters degree holders on September 8, 2009. The 26th batch of graduates received their masters (MBA, MA) and BA degrees as well as their diplomas from the hands of H.E Ato Girma Biru, Minister of Trade and Industry, who officiated the colorful ceremony at Gerji, Addis Ababa. The office of Distance and Continuing Education of Unity University (UU) is housed in a two-story building located between the Head Office and Unity University Campus, only two blocks away from the Head Office. Distance and Continuing Education was established and launched in 2001.  

The Department of Distance/Continuing Education and Branch Campuses, with Distance and Continuing Education and Nazareth Special Campus, has its own organizational structure, Vice President and Deans. Both Nazareth Special Campus and Distance and Continuing Education have been growing with dynamism for sustainability. The leadership of Unity University has expressed commitment to lead the competition of distance and regular education by meeting technological and customer requirements.
